On October 1st, SDUT held a solemn flag-raising ceremony in the square in front of Hongyuan Building, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in all the glory of the great country at the historic moment.
Leaders present at the ceremony included LYU Chuanyi, ZHANG Tiezhu, YI Yuchen, HU Xingyu, LIU Guohua, ZHANG Xiangyun, WANG Libin, WEI Xiuting, ZHA Yuxi, YI Weiming and ZHANG Jinsheng. Others attending the ceremony were Members of Party Committee and of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, persons in charge of offices, of directly affiliated departments and of the department of economics and management, and heads, Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of CPC general branch, and Party Member Representatives from all Schools. They all dressed formally with a solemn look, wearing the Party emblem and holding a red flag.
The flag-raising ceremony began in the dawn at 6:10 a.m. With the escort of the national flag squad, the flag-raiser stepped into the flag-raising platform and hung the flag. The bright five-star red flag rose slowly with the vehement and magnificent March of the Volunteers. All the staff solemnly saluted to the national flag with eyes and sang the national anthem, expressed their love for the great motherland in a solemn and sacred way, and sent their heartfelt wishes to our thriving and prosperous motherland.
The flag-raising ceremony was held to deeply promote education on the theme of remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind in SDUT, further stimulate the patriotism of party members and cadres, and guide party members and cadres to always remember the original aspiration and mission as the communist party members.
