On the morning of April 2nd, SDUT held the 2021 work meeting on full and rigorous governance over the Party in the Art Center Auditorium to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the spirit of the video conference on full and rigorous governance over the Party of national and provincial education systems, summarize and review the past year’s work on full and rigorous governance over the Party, and arrange and deploy key tasks for 2021.
LYU Chuanyi, the Secretary ofthe Party Committee attended and made a speech, HU Xingyu, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President presided over the meeting. The attendees were also members of the leading group of SDUT Party Committee DENG Changliang, LIU Guohua, WANG Libin, WEI Xiuting, ZHA Yuxi, YI Weiming, ZHANG Jinsheng, LIU Mingyong, ZHANG Siling, middle-level cadres and secretaries of the Party branch.
DENG Changliang, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee conveyed the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.ZHANG Jinsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the SDUT Party Committee, the Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of SDUT, and Supervisory Commissioner, made a work report on full and rigorous governance over the Party, construction of the Party conduct and of an honest and clean government, and discipline inspection and supervision, reviewed the work in 2020, pointed out the main problems and arranged the major tasks for 2021.
LYU Chuanyi signed the Letter of Responsibility for Full and Rigorous Governance over the Party and Construction of the Party Conduct and of an Honest and Clean Government with the representative department (Financial Affairs Office) and the representative school (School of Agricultural Engineering and Food Science).
LYU Chuanyi made a speech. He systematically summarized the work on full and rigorous governance over the Party in 2020 from six aspects of strict Party management, strict ideology, strict team, strict organization, strict work style, and strict discipline. He also pointed out the existing weak links and problems.
LYU Chuanyi stressed the following points to ensure the work on full and rigorous governance over the Party for 2021: First, we must take a clear political stand and work hard on keeping the right direction; Second, we must strengthen ideology in depth and detail and work hard on implementing responsibility; Third, we must be strict and practical to cadres and work hard on setting examples; Fourth, we must consolidate the foundation and work hard on enhancing grassroots strength; Fifth, we must take real action to change the work style and work hard on practicing the Party’s tenet; Sixth, we must exercise strict discipline and supervision, and work hard on perseverance; Seventh, we must conduct in-depth study to find rules and work hard on system construction.
HU Xingyu put forward the following requirements for implementing the spirit of this meeting: First, we must study and understand in depth, and raise political stance practically; Second, we must implement the primary responsibility and strictly perform the duties and missions; Third, we must persist in overall planning and promote university development.
