On the morning of April 23rd, SDUT held the 2021 safety and stability work conference in the lecture hall of No. 3 teaching building, which thoroughly implemented the relevant requirements of the overall national security concept and that of Shandong Province on campus security work, summarized and reviewed the security and stability work done in the past year, and arranged and deployed the key tasks in 2021.

ZHA Yuxi, member of the standing committee of the Party committee and vice president of SDUT, presided over the meeting. YI Weiming and SU Shoubo, members of the standing committee of the Party committee and vice president of SDUT, ZHAO Jun, deputy detachment leader of Zibo Fire Rescue Detachment, and BIAN Chongnian, instructor of the school district police station, attended the meeting. Heads of all functional departments, directly affiliated units, colleges, persons in charge of safety work and safety liaison officers attended the meeting.
SU Shoubo summarized the work done of SDUT’s safety and stability in 2020, pointed out the existing problems made arrangements for the key tasks in 2021 from five aspects: paying close attention to the implementation of campus safety responsibility from strengthening political awareness, paying close attention to the investigation and treatment of hidden dangers from strengthening the sense of crisis, paying close attention to safety prevention and control from strengthening risk awareness, paying close attention to the construction of campus public security prevention and control system from strengthening the cooperative consciousness, paying close attention to safety publicity and education from strengthening the sense of service.
YI Weiming read out the Decision on Commending Excellent Units and Individuals in Safety and Stability Assessment in 2020 and Decision on Appointing Safety Inspectors.
The leaders and honored guests presented certificates of awards for outstanding units and individuals, and letters of appointment for safety inspectors.
HU Xingyu signed the 2021 Safety and Stability Work Target Responsibility Letter on behalf of SDUT with the head of School of Transportation & Vehicle Engineering, the representative of the school, and the head of Logistic Affairs' Division， the representative of administration.
Combining years of work experience, ZHAO Jun proposed from a professional perspective that SDUT should fully understand the characteristics of fire protection and the law of fire development, further implement the main responsibility, improve fire protection propaganda, and strengthen the construction of miniature fire stations.
HU Xingyu made a speech and put forward three opinions on the safety and stability of SDUT.
First, we must clearly understand the situation, improve our political position, and enhance our ideological and action awareness of security and stability. Safety and stability work was no small matter. For us, safety was life and stability was our stage. It was necessary to clearly understand the situation, resolutely overcome passive and paralyzed thinking, and take the initiative to do a good job in security and stability.
Second, we should earnestly study and research, implement comprehensive management, and construct the security and stability guarantee system of SDUT. It was necessary to implement the requirements of the overall national security concept, establish the overall school security concept, seriously study the rules of school safety and stability, and implement comprehensive management. We should construct the security and stability guarantee system of SDUT from the five dimensions of full content, omni-directional, whole process, total involvement and all methods.
Third, we should strictly grasp the key links, seriously investigate the responsibilities, and implement the safety and stability management work in detail. We needed to strengthen warn education and safety knowledge education; enhance prevention and work planning; reinforce the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers; intensify emergency disposal; establish and improve the responsibility system; make work assessment strict; act and manage according to law.
ZHA Yuxi put forward requirements for the implementation of the spirit of the conference. First, we must improve the political position and earnestly understand the spirit of the meeting; second, we must consolidate the main responsibility and strictly implement the work; third, we must adhere to coordination and cooperation to ensure the safety and stability of SDUT.
